NYAMBE NICHOLE
Writer • Filmmaker • Producer • Playwright
Founder, Nyambe Nichole Productions
Nyambe Nichole is a Detroit-based writer, filmmaker, producer, and playwright whose storytelling journey began on the stage.
Her creative journey started in 2013 with her first stage play, Don’t Go to Hell from the Church. It was the beginning of a passion for telling stories that explore real people, complicated relationships, faith, family, choices, and the consequences that can follow them.
In 2015, Nyambe wrote and produced Call Me Daddy, continuing to develop her voice as a playwright and storyteller. A decade later, the production reached a special milestone when Call Me Daddy celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025.

ICEIS BOYER
Writer • DIRECTOr • Producer
Iceis developed her love for filmmaking while working as a Production Assistant on her mother Nyambe Nichole’s film, Deadly Desires. What began as an opportunity to help behind the scenes quickly became something more. Being on set and experiencing firsthand what it took to bring a story from the page to the screen sparked a passion for filmmaking of her own.
She soon began developing her own voice as a storyteller.
